Jonathan Raines

Jonathan is doing a UKRI-funded PhD in Interactive Artificial Intelligence (2023-2027). He is interested in how AI can be applied to engineering design. He seeks to allow engineers to design better products by creating more advanced tools. Jonathan is currently researching how Reinforcement Learning can be used for Generative Design.

Jonathan has previously worked at Rolls-Royce as a mechanical engineer and Open Bionics as Head of R&D.
