The Lab hosted Prof Larry Mallak – Professor of Industrial and Entrepreneurial Engineering and Engineering Management from Western Michigan University this week. With the focus of the visit on Innovation and Enterprise we toured the regions rich ecosystem of incubators for technology and enterprise. These included:
Unit DX incubator specialising in science-based start-ups.
Engine Shed a hub where businesses, entrepreneurs, academics, social innovators, and corporates collaborate on new and existing ventures.
Bath Bristol Science Park providing space, flexibility and support for science and technology businesses to accelerate their growth and success.
Future Space providing flexible workspace and purpose built laboratories for development of technology of the future with a specialism in robotics, biosciences, medical technologies and other high tech sectors.
National Composites Centre independent, open-access national centre, delivering world-class innovation in the design and rapid manufacture of composites.
